Adding a Cloudflare Account

Step 1 — Get your Cloudflare API Token or API Key

  1. Click the Create Token button.

  2. Under API Token Templates, select Edit zone DNS.

  3. Click Add more on the Permissions section, choose Zone, then select Zone again in the second dropdown. The permission must be set to Edit.

  4. In the Zone Resources section, choose All zones.

  5. Continue to the summary screen.

  6. Click Create Token.

  7. Copy your newly created API Token — you will need it in the next step.

Option 2: Using your Global API Key

  1. Scroll down to the API Keys section.

  2. Click View next to Global API Key.

  3. Enter your Cloudflare password if prompted.

  4. Copy your Global API Key — you will need it in the next step.


Step 2 — Add Account in the App

Now return to the Cloudflare DNS Manager app.

  1. On the Dashboard, click the Add Account button (top right corner).

  2. Fill in the following fields:

Label

A name to help you identify this account in the app (e.g. "My Cloudflare Account").

Email

The email address associated with your Cloudflare account.

Type

Select either API Token or API Key, depending on what you are using.

API Key/Token

Paste your API Token or Global API Key here.

  1. Click Save.


✅ That’s it — your Cloudflare account is now connected!

You can now proceed to add domains and manage DNS records for this account.
